Robby's veiw on the JDLA Water Festival

At this years JDLA water festival I got to help out at the stream table by getting water for them, getting small trees for them and talking to the kids now and then. The people from the stream table are from Jefferson County Conservation District. At the stream table we showed the kids about how streams can erode the dirt, rock, and even the trees around the stream. Also they were taught about how planing trees and grass in large quantities can help keep the stream walls from eroding. We served the children hamburgers, chips, a cookie and a flavored drink for lunch. After lunch we had bout 4 more groups then we thanked all the kids and teachers for coming and sent them home.we then cleaned up and we went home as well.
